Zorin von Zermatt is a very impressive looking long hair sable German Shepherd. It is rare to see one; Zorin looks like he is from Eastern European lines. He has great conformation. We were sure when we say his picture appear on the lost and found list at a city shelter that someone would be there soon to retrieve him, but we were so wrong. It is definitely a mystery, Zorin knows his commands and is eager to please. The volunteer who was working with him felt like the Dog Whisperer, it is such a sense of achievement to have a huge dog trotting by your side with a loose leash. He sits quickly on command or goes right down to the ground with a hand signal. All this is nice, but the very best part is Zorin is just a big lovable teddy bear, if you need a big shaggy, easy going guy in your life, this is a dream dog. Our best guess is that Zorin is around 4, he has grey on his muzzle but he has the teeth of an even younger dog. He seems great with others dogs, we can do a cat test, but we have a feeling he would be good! He didn’t want to go back to the kennel and was hiding, he doesn’t know it yet but we know he will get a great family soon!
